So this month I have decided to post two really useful D.I.Y. Recipes.

These are awesome because after going to all the Holiday events you come home want to take off your makeup and you can do it for way less money and none of the toxins found in store bought products!

So Enjoy!


D.I.Y. Make-Up Remover Pads Recipe


1/2 a cup of natural spring water
1 tsp of Witch Hazel
1 tsp of doTERRA Fractionated Coconut oil
1 tsp of castille soap
8 drops of lavender.
4 oz mason or preserving jars (airtight)
Round cotton facial pads

Mix all the ‘wet’ ingredients in a glass bowl. Pour half the mix into the jar. Fill the jar with the cotton facial pads and pour the remaining liquid over the top.
I tipped the jars over a few times just to make sure the mixture soaks every pad.

These measurements ? are for 1 jar only, so you can multiply the amounts to suit how many jars you want to make.

This next Recipe, well it is supposedly for the kiddos, but to tell you the truth I think you add some great calming essential oils and the whole family could benefit from playing with this! I know I want to make a batch for those particularly stressful days. Sensory play is super healthy for anyone who has anxiety issues, ADD or Autism so truthfully this is such a great recipe.

D.I.Y. Aromatherapy Moon Sand Recipe


What you need:
8 cups flour
1 cup vegetable oil
8-10 drops Lavender essential oil (Or any calming oil of your choice or combination. Have fun with it)

In large bowl combine all ingredients.
Mix with hands until well combined.

Note: You may need to add more vegetable oil until you reach a moldable consistency. Also if you have kiddos or adults who are unable to use wheat flour, you Amaranth or Chickpea flower or any great kind of Gluten free flour.
